Explanation of a procedure used to visualize the ureter or tube in-between the kidney and bladder that helps drain urine into the bladder. A very small scope about the size of the metal part of a pen is used to perform this procedure which involves no cutting whatsoever. It is often used in conjunction with laser lithotripsy to treat kidney stones.
