A quick tutorial on how to make carbon fiber tent poles. These are for my Z-packs shelter but you can modify the instructions to make any length pole you like. It is much easier and faster than you think, and the quantities of each component will depend on what length and how many poles you are making. Materials needed are from Quest Outfitters:
- #4150 6.3 CARBON FIB.POLE WITH .346 17 inch Blk
- #4151 6.3 CARBON FIB.POLE W/O INS.346 17 inch Blk
- #4030 ENDTIP TIE OFF DOME STYLE .340
- #2402 NARROW ELASTIC CORD 3/32 inch Black
