Liquica is only 26km along the coast from Dili, heading westwards. With some scenic coastal views and a few places of interest to explore along the way, it makes an ideal half day trip out from Dili. On this trip I stopped off at Lauhata Beach Escape for lunch and a swim. The resort is right on the beach, just before you near the town of Liquica. You get to it via a rather bumpy dirt track off to the right of the main road. It makes an ideal stop off for breakfast, lunch or dinner or you can enjoy a quiet weekend away here. Give it a try!
