The number of tigers in the Sundarbans is decreasing day by day. Tigers have been identified as the most endangered species of Bangladesh due to the killing of forests and hunters. Statistics show that the number of tigers in the year 2004 was 460, but now it has come down to 250. Now, if the proper steps are not taken, environmentalists are afraid of extinction.

Sundarbans is one of the largest biodiversity in the world. The forest is like a fishing net, a small island with saltwater mud, mud forest, saltwater mangrove forests. These forests are rich in the name of the Royal Bengal Tiger, the famous Royal Bird Tiger, with many birds, Chitra deer, crocodiles and snakes.

However, due to the poaching of the hunter-gatherers and the poisoning of poisonous water and excessive salt water due to the poisoning of the Sundarbans, the number of tigers has decreased due to its significant decrease.

Due to the proper forest habitat for the habitat of tigers and lack of adequate food, and frequent occurrences of people coming to the locality often occurring. As a result, many people have to be killed by the villagers.

Environmentalists have demanded a long-term plan for government to increase the reproduction of tigers and to properly preserve the Sundarbans biodiversity.
