Florissant Fossil Beds Day Hike

Описание к видео Florissant Fossil Beds Day Hike

A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I had the chance to pay the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument a visit. This is part of the National Park Service located in Florissant, Colorado. This video shows some of the things you can expect to see there at the park.

This park is home to several fossilized redwood trees as well as many miles of hiking trails, pine forests, elk, prairie dogs, ground squirrel and other forms of wildlife. As of this video, it was only $3 per person to enter the park and is off the beaten path enough to make the trip worth it for folks who prefer to be away from people while in nature.
