King Charles Praises ‘Incredible’ Spanish Football Team at EPC

The King told Chancellor Olaf Scholz and deputy prime minister Angela Rayner that the Spanish football team was “incredible” during a reception for the European Political Community summit. The Monarch later heaped more praise on the winners of Euro 2024 to Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez, saying his nation’s team were “amazing” and “totally unbeatable”. Charles met leaders from around Europe at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, including President Macron of France and President Zelensky of Ukraine as the gathering drew to a close.
