A young school child who just got 01 mark out of 25 in a Physics class test in 1985, has by the dint of self-belief and hard-work become an international media celebrity in the field of geopolitics & defence. Lt Col Jasinder Singh Sodhi is a retired Army veteran and defence strategist with over 21 years of distinguished service in the Indian Army's Bombay Sappers, Corps of Engineers. As a seventh-generation Army officer and third-generation Corps of Engineers officer, he brings a wealth of experience. He is now a prominent media personality, publishing articles on defence and strategic issues and frequently appearing on Indian and foreign TV and FM radio channels for discussions.
