World First Space Hotel To Open In 2027 | Voyager Station

Orbital Assembly Corporation, a construction company run by John Blincow has announced that the world’s first space hotel will open in 2027 in the Voyager space station. The company has revealed new information and concepts for its space hotel idea, designs for which have been orbiting since 2019
The station will be Orbital Assembly Corporation first major project, and the first commercial space station with artificial gravity. Accommodating 280 guests and 112 crew members
The hotel will be constructed over 11,600 square meters of habitable space in the shape of a ferris wheel. The space station will create artificial gravity using centrifugal force as the hotel will keep spinning to simulate gravity in its pods. The construction of the Voyager Station will start in 2026 by Orbital Assembly Corporation.
Orbital Assembly Corporation is planning to serve up traditional ‘space food’ like freeze dried ice cream, while they also aim to have recreational spaces for activities like basketball, taking advantage of weightlessness in space. No room rates have been announced, but the team hopes to one day make the cost similar to a cruise ticket. The first element of the rotating hotel to be built will be a central un-pressurized ring structure that will contain the docking hub. An outer ring truss will connect to the central ring by a network of spokes, and from there it will have 24 habitation modules.
The great thing is that you cannot book the only hotel to enjoy your holiday you can purchase villas as a holiday home in space. Wow if you are buying a villa what will be the scene in front of you with the stars and moon up close from your window. The space hotel is said to circle the globe every 90 minutes. Its rotation is expected to generate artificial gravity like that of the moon. Lucky guests will be able to see a sunrise and sunset every 90 minutes from the world’s first premium space hotel.
The 650-foot-wide (198 meter) Ferris-wheel-like Voyager Space Station will comprise two rings connected by spokes. The inner circle will be fitted with spacecraft docking stations for guests. The outer ring will house the rooms, restaurants, bars, gyms, and scientific research labs. The solar-powered hotel will spin at speeds high enough to create artificial gravity, ensuring occupants a comfortable stay.
Orbital Assembly Corporation hopes to attract not just tourists but also scientists, astronauts on long-distance missions, and even some semi-permanent residents.
