Kathie Sullivan made her debut on The Lawrence Welk Show in 1976. Welk discovered her after she won a “Miss Champagne Music” contest while attending the University of Wisconsin. With her natural and pure voice, she sang numerous solos, and was often paired with Dick Dale on duets. After the Welk show she went on to release several successful Gospel Music albums.
