There were scenes of near-panic inside the ISS yesterday as the crew struggled to remove Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano's spacesuit.

He had returned the the space station after aborting a spacewalk because his suit was mysteriously filling with water. His colleagues
did not know it, but he was close to drowning.

"From words that the crew reported, we think it's unlikely that it was the drink bag today, and I would say that I don't know yet the exact source of the water today, so that is part of the investigation that is going to be going forward," said NASA's Karina Eversley.
