Episode 7 kicks off with Blackwater Attempt #3 as we try (again) to reach Javier after failing twice in Episode 6. Confidence is high. Common sense is not. On the road we run into a very strange prospector who breaks into a jig like this is totally normal behavior in 1899.

Then the route turns into a checklist of bad news: wolves, followed by bounty hunters, followed by bloodthirsty hounds that do not care how tired Arthur is of being chased. One small mistake near the bridge and it’s over, as the waves finally stack up and Arthur gets overwhelmed.

After respawning and swallowing what’s left of our pride, we pivot to a practical plan: Valentine for better guns. But right inside town, a loudmouth O’Driscoll decides to run his mouth and immediately learns what Arthur’s fist thinks about that plan. Now Arthur’s wanted for assault, we’re back on the run, and the escape gets even messier when an unfortunate horse-riding accident turns the whole situation into slapstick survival.

We dust ourselves off, regroup, and head back to Valentine with one goal: that gun store. And then… things take a turn.
