The ninth hole closes out the outward nine as another of the shortest holes on the front side. The tee shot is designed to be played with a long iron or three-wood, as out-of-bounds runs down the entire left side. The key is to position the ball on the left side of the fairway to achieve a clear, unobstructed short iron or wedge into the green. Missing right off the tee brings a tall tree into play, guarding the direct line to the green. The putting surface is heavily sloped, demanding a precise, controlled approach shot to land near the pin. Its difficulty is subtle, proving that short holes can still be excellent strategic tests that force the player to prioritize position over distance to set up a favorable putt.
