“Truck Skunk” is an outlaw country tale of life on the road — diesel fumes, bad coffee, and one very defensive pet skunk who saves the day when a thief tries to jack the rig.
Gritty guitars, a stomp-along groove, and plenty of humor straight from the highway.
Turn it up, roll the windows down, and thank your lucky stars your passenger doesn’t spray.

Lyrics :
HR man said, “Boy, that ain’t right,
No skunks allowed in that truck tonight.”
I said, “He’s clean, most of the time,
And he’s got more soul than your bottom line.”
Me and ol’ Stinky hit that road,
Diesel singin’, heavy load.
From Amarillo to Bangor, Maine,
We roll through smoke and a little bit of pain.
He’s my truck skunk, ridin’ shotgun proud,
Tail held high, sprayin’ justice loud.
HR said, “That ain’t no pet,”
But he’s the best damn partner I ever met.
Don’t need no badge, no gun, no bunk,
Just me and my outlaw truck skunk.
One cold night down in Abilene,
Stopped off where the lights turned green.
Met a lady with boots and lace,
Smile like sin and an angel’s face.
While I was talkin’ and feelin’ bold,
Some fool tried to steal my load.
But ol’ Joe woke up in that funk,
Lit that thief up — truck skunk junk.
He’s my truck skunk, mean ol’ punk,
Lit that thief up with outlaw funk.
One spray later, the job was done,
Thief ran off like a hit-and-run.
Now I owe my freedom, my cash, my junk,
To that black-and-white truck skunk.
Now HR’s callin’, sayin’, “Son, you’re a star,
That little feller saved the company car.”
Now they’re printin’ stickers for every rig,
Sayin’ Protected by Skunk and Big.
Ain’t no rulebook for what he’s done,
He’s a stinkin’ hero under the sun.
He’s my truck skunk, out on the line,
Tail held high in that diesel shine.
You can keep your memos, your timecards too,
We’ll keep rollin’ like outlaws do.
From Texarkana to Kalamazunk,
I’m haulin’ hell with my truck skunk.
If you smell somethin’ fierce on I-10 east,
That ain’t trouble — that’s just the beast.
Two outlaws rollin’ in diesel and funk,
Me… and my truck skunk.
