On this day in 1929, Indian revolutionaries, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt protested British rule by throwing harmless bomb in the Central legislative assembly ( presently Indian parliament) in Delhi, shouting "inqlaab jindabad" to protest against the repressive laws like public safety bill and trade dispute bill intending to make the deaf hear and use the trial to spread their message for independence.
