How do you spot the difference between a good man and a bad man?

If I can give you one piece of relationship advice about men it would be this: Anything and everything a man does in the first 90 days mean nothing. All the chocolates flowers teddy-bears and road trips and promises and "I love you's" mean absolutely nothing.


Here is why:

Men, I, my brother, father, cousin, uncle, friends and every other man on our planet has an auto-pilot and it automatically turns on like a light switch whenever we meet a new female we are interested in and it doesn't matter if we are 12-years, twenty-seven or 72-years old. We are in heaven on cloud number 9 and we will run into burning buildings for you. Auto-pilot is on and there is nothing we will not do to impress you.

You fall in love with this wonderful perfect man without realizing he is on auto-pilot. This is not who he really is in every day life and it's not even his fault. It's just part of our design. You enter into a relationship with auto-pilot and two years down the line you ask yourself what the hell are you doing with this rude arrogant insecure lazy loser who farts swears and burps in front of you who pees all over the toilet seat. Don't even talk about the dirty dishes and the stinky underwear. Did he behave like this in the first 90 days?

Your prince charming turned into a wanker or a monster when auto-pilot switched off. You ask yourself: "What was I thinking?"

So how do you spot the difference between a good man and a bad man?
