An Afternoon in NC Mountains

Occasionally, we all need to take a break from our daily routines. I love to take a drive over the mountain to NC. Some places I love to visit is Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. The mountains views never disappoint and are always different. On this trip, the mountains had a misty appearance. An artist was painting the view from the Wilson Creek overlook and it was amazing! Our late lunch at Mike's Inland Seafood in Boone was delicious and highly recommend it. Although, we had a few hiccups along the way, we stilled enjoyed the day. One thing I didn't mention in the video was how fear struck me when I thought I had locked my keys in the car while we were visiting Moses Cone Manor off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I couldn't feel them in my small purse while walking back to the car so I checked my pants pockets and no keys! I thought I'd have to call someone to make the 4 hour round trip to bring my extra keys or have the car towed home and ride in the tow truck. When I reached the car, I visually checked my purse and the keys were in a sleeve inside the purse. I was so relieved!!! Thank you Lord!!!!
