Описание к видео RS - Mummies guide NO PRAYER METHOD (AFK no-cost effigies)

Details on how to do this:
Go to the Desert Treasure pyramid (the place where you switch to Ancients), and find a sarcophagus which spawns Mummies when you stand next to it. Stand next to it in a way so that when the door opens it doesn't block you from the Mummy.
Turn on Prot Melee for the first 10 minutes, and kill the annoying Scarabs and Fire mummies (They're called Mummy like the 10hp ones, but have more hp, do more damage, and get set on fire if you use a fire spell). You may want to use an antipoison potion for the Scarabs.
Eventually only the 10hp mummies will spawn (you can tell by their examine "Highly Flammable!" and the fact that the sarcophagus opens and they say "rawr" when they come out).
At this point you can turn off Prot melee if you had it on, Autocast your selected Fire spell, turn on Auto Retaliate, and just AFK. Every 1-2 minutes check the drop pile for Rune sq shield, Rune scim, Ancient staff, Champ scroll, or Effigy. Telekinetic grab if you get one of these drops. Alch the Rune / ancient staff. Turn on Vecna whenever it recharges, and summon a Bunyip whenever it dies, drinking 1 dose of Summoning potion if you need to.

FAQ:

How much XP per hour/cost?
XP is the base XP of your spell * about 600 casts per hour. You don't get any HP or Defence XP when attacking the 10hp Mummies, but you do when attacking the ones with more hp or scarabs.
costs are:
about 600 casts per hour * cost per cast of your chosen spell
costs of repairing degradable items
bunyip cost which is negligible
This should be quite a low number, but don't forget that Mummies can drop Rune sq shields(23k alch), Rune scimitars(15k alch), and Ancient staff (60k alch) fairly often. You will end up profiting.

What is the telekinetic grab for?
It lets you pick up drops without having to move, which can occasionally mess up the spawns. It barely costs anything and is covered by the alch return of the drops.

Why use Magic?
Only Fire spells hurt the 10hp mummies. Other things (including melee) work against Fire mummies and Scarabs though.

Why Fire Bolts?
Bolt is very cost effective, and its base damage can be boosted by Chaos gauntlets to make it 150, nearly as good a Blast for a fraction of the cost.
Comparison of spells (assuming +15% damage boost, no pots/vecna):
Strike: 10.9% chance of NOT 1-hitting Mummy
Bolt: 5.8% chance of NOT 1-hitting Mummy
Wave: 4.3% chance of NOT 1-hitting Mummy
Surge: 3.1% chance of NOT 1-hitting Mummy

Why Vecna skull?
-It's a free magic boost that slightly increases your kill rate without requiring inv space or a familiar. It's a very small bonus and not necessary, but it doesn't hurt to use it.

I'm getting Scarabs/Fire mummies attacking me again after the initial 10 minutes!?
-I'm not sure what the exact causes are for this, but it seems to happen more when there are lots of people (such as in the room with 8 Sarcophagi in 4 alcoves). It will never happen if you do not move or try to attack Mummies before they attack you, and there are no other players around you.
-Attacking a Mummy immediately when it spawns rather than attacking by auto-retaliate can mess up spawns and possibly spawn scarabs. I haven't seen any Fire mummies spawned this way though.

Is Elite Enhanced Excalibur enough healing?
Yes, but it requires slightly more attention than bunyip. I only use it to heal me when poisoned by Scarabs.

Is this a recent update?
Recently Jagex altered the combat levels of certain monsters, and since effigy droprate is a function of combat level, this improved the effigy droprates of some monsters. Mummies were not well known until today. Credit to Little Oaks for his video that made me aware of this.
