Tuesday's Children Presents: Lessons in Recovery and Resilience Virtual Speaker Series - Remembrances, Reminders, Anniversaries, and Milestones

Tuesday’s Children hosted Remembrances, Reminders, Anniversaries and Milestones, a virtual event as part of the 2022 Lessons in Recovery and Resilience Speaker Series. This event provided an opportunity for attendees to hear from panelists about how to cope with grief and trauma reminders during holidays, anniversaries, as well as personal milestones.

Tuesday’s Children promotes long-term healing through proven, resilience-building programming in children, families, and communities impacted by devastating and traumatic loss. Our Lessons in Recovery and Resilience Series, started in 2016, provides an opportunity for our audience members to hear from survivors and subject matter experts on the ways in which the communities we work with can build resilience after terrorism, military conflict, mass violence, trauma and loss. Past topics have included survivor stories of resilience, perspectives on childhood trauma and grief, and peer support in the wake of traumatic events. As our families and communities enter into a major holiday season, the topic of anniversaries and milestones will be particularly important in showing those coping with trauma and grief that they are not alone.
