How to clean the Butterfly Keyboard mechanism

I have noticed recently we are getting more and more calls about sticky or non working keys for 2015-2019 MacBooks. All the butterfly keyboards have been under recall for quite a while now but... Unfortunately, some of the older units are now not eligible as they were purchased over 4 years ago. This is the first video in a series on how to work with the different keys, and what we do to clean them.

You are doing this at your own risk, these keys are very fragile and you can and probably will break a few when practicing. Please master this technique before offering it as a service to your clients and breaking their keyboards - and always be ready to replace their top-case or complete keyboard if you mess up.
