Weed Control For All Turf Types, Possible? Yes. Firstly, this is a broadleaf weed control for all grass types and is coming to the market sooner than later. There is little info available on youtube about it, but it is searchable.

Corteva Agroscience (Dow Dupont) has been in trials of a new weed control product called Relzar. Relzar contains a new active ingredient called Arylex active. This is a synthetic auxin with a wide degree of turf safety. There are certain things that I Iove about the forthcoming product as far as low use rate and target weeds. The product is in limited use and testing phase, and will be released upon final EPA label approval.

In this video I draw some similarities to another weed control product that made its debut 10 years ago and the subsequent issues that material had because of lack of overall testing which lead to negligence. the testing protocols are so very important and the steps Corteva is taking prior to the release of Relzar are top notch.

I also run through some other products that came and went in the ag and turf market that were not quite what they seemed when they showed early promise.
