If you've watched The Lion Guard, you've probably wondered: why was Kion missing from The Lion King 2? While we see Kiara, his older sister, as the future queen of the Pride Lands, Kion—the fierce leader of the Lion Guard and one of the most powerful lions of his generation—was nowhere in sight. Was he simply an afterthought, created later by the writers? Or was he on a journey that kept him away from the Pride Lands during Zira’s attacks in the lion king 2?
Well, I believe he could have been born during this time, but wasn’t in the Pride Lands when these events happened, and here’s why.
