Graphic novels for uncertain times

Graphic novels can engagingly articulate complex stories and issues, deftly weaving together artistic and literary techniques to create gripping and informing narratives.

Shelfies: the brightest minds across the humanities and social sciences discuss the books on their shelves that have inspired them.

Shelfies is a new series of short videos from researchers who have received funding from the British Academy, in which they discuss the books that inspired them or their work and helped them to share their ideas with the public.
