Recycling Pull-Aparts: Mongoose Bicycle

The plan was to search for a used bike, and make it into an electro-bike.

I was walking by the apartment trash area and saw this unexpecred jewel glimmering against ths wall.

A Mongoose. Solid frame, clean shocks, pristine comfortable seat, gears working well, strong back break. Aside from a cheap front brake cable replacement and some rust-removal of the chain, it only needs air in the tires or replacement tubes.

What an awesome day.

Once I arrange the electro parts I'm integrating into this, I'll dismantls the entire gem, give each part some specific deep cleaning attention, and then finish it off with a mystery paint job.
