Hello everyone! So sorry for the absence last week. We adopted a one year old husky and have been super busy giving her all the loves and attention🐺🥰 We named her Vex, short for Vex’ahlia, named after my favorite Critical Role character from the first campaign! I love her so much😩🥰🤗

Anyway, let’s get one with our multi-parter case we will be going into for the next 4 weeks! For the next several weeks we will be diving into the mysterious, tragic case of The Moody Massacre who, police say, was committed by 18-year old Scott Moody. In this tragic event, Scott’s grandparents, Gary and Sharyl Shafer, Scott’s mother, Sheri Kay Shafer, his girlfriend, Paige Harshbarger, and good friend Megan Karus would all be shot to death, allegedly by Scott, before he turned the gun onto himself and killed himself. Miraculously Scott’s little sister, Stacy Moody, survived the attack. Now, the reason people think Scott may or may not have done this is due to the sloppy, border-line incompetent (perhaps corrupt?) work of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, which has a history of despicable corruption, incompetent investigators, and conspiracies about covering up crimes. For part 1, we will be introduced to all of the victims, go into the Shafer-Moody family history, and then get into the tragic events of that day that would leave a grand total of 6 dead and 1 critically wounded. We will end part 1 with the beginnings of the investigation and get some statements from those who had intimate knowledge/connection to the family and those who were mere hours before the massacre happened. It’s a wild case we will be going into and there are certainly many questions left, regardless of the authorities officially closing Scott’s case.
