Celestron CPC Deluxe, NexStar or StarSense firmware Update RS232
To update the hand control firmware, you will need the Celestron Firmware Manager CFM
To use CFM you need to install Java.
If your hand controller dose not have a USB socket only a RJ mini plug You Will need the Celestron hand controller serial cable 93920 or equivalent. If you dont have a 9 Pin serial port on the PC you will need a USB to Serial adapter.
The Hand controller and camera will need to be plugged in the mount, the mount will need an external 12v supply to enable programming.
When in programming mode various messages will appear on the hand control screen
