Longwei is a masculine vocal with a deep, impassioned tone, and a bold, rotund timbre. His voice is meant to sing with a vocal-style suited to Classical, Opera, and Gothic genres of music. Though contrast to other vocals that cover these types of songs, he is meant to be flexible enough to cover other types of music without much difficulty.

Profile
An accomplished vocalist who is well-known for singing at high society events. He is a polyglot, famous for being able to fluently speak and sing in many different languages. While his talents are recognized by aristocrats all over the world, he can be difficult to work with because of his standoffish nature and lack of communication skills. His identity is shrouded in mystery, as "LongWei" appears to be a pseudonym, and his nationality and native language is not known.

Personality
LongWei is very quiet, stern, and matter-of-fact. He often comes off as snobbish and self-important. In reality, he is uncomfortable around most other people, and prefers solitude, aside from people he's close to. Despite this, he possesses a deep admiration for singing as an art form, and is willing to step out of his comfort zone to pursue it. He is also a wine enthusiast, and runs a modest winery as a side gig.


LongWei_ja is a CVVC database meant primarily for the Japanese language. In UTAU, he can be utilized with autoCVVC2.002 and/or presamp, among potentially other tools meant for Eve-Style CVVC voicebanks. In OpenUtau, LongWei is meant to be used with the [JA CVVC] Phonemizer.

LongWei_ja_Operatic is an extension library meant to expand LongWei's range of songs he is capable of covering. It can be used by itself as a full voicebank, or as a single combined multi-expression database with LongWei_ja, via the ExtensionPatch found on the distribution site.

"Operatic" exists specifically to contrast to LongWei_ja. While LongWei_ja is meant to be suitable to opera, it is recorded with a more "theatrical" and genre-agnostic tone. "Operatic" is intended exclusively for opera singing, not unlike similar opera-oriented vocal synths before him ( e.g. VOCALOID2 Prima & Tonio ). "Operatic" is emotive and soulful, while giving off an air of regality and prestige.

This database also has rudimentary multilingual support, meant primarily for English, Spanish, and similar languages. He contains 3 additional vowel sounds and 9 additional consonants. Extras such as isolated consonants, End-Phrase consonants & diphthongs, and extended vowels, are also present. This database also has Kana & Romaji aliasing available.
