Hi all, In this video, I have tried to explain "How to clean Fresh Water Generator Onboard Ship" step by step. Fresh Water Generator is an important machinery onboard ship that produces Fresh Water using Sea Water.

Working Principle of Fresh Water Generator:
Fresh Water Generator works on the principle of, Evaporation and Condensation. Sea Water is first evaporated(boiled) in evaporator tubes and the evaporated steam is condensed(cooled) in condenser. I'll make a detailed video on working principle later.

Methods of Cleaning:
1.Chemical circulation - This is most common the method where we use a small wilden pump to recirculate the chemical to clean the fresh water generator.
2. Adding Chemical - This is quick method which we use incase of limited port stay where we don't have much time to do chemical circulation.
