I told myself, "after lunch I will give the ending a try" after I gave up on the OP yesterday evening. It was going so great that I went from arranging to recording within a single session. My memory may fail me but I feel this is the first time that I have done this and man was it exhausting. But I wanted to try jumping on the hype train (not in front for a change) and just took advantage of my current mood. I also wanted to make a full version arrangement but scratched that idea since I technically don't have that much time on my hands. I think I will have to sacrifice quite some sleep today in exchange for this, but it was worth it.

That said, I may or may not have made this cover a bit more difficult than I could handle in such a short amount of time (and I still ended up slightly simplifying a few parts over the 31 recordings I did, what you are listening to here is the 9th recording). So sadly there are impurities and mistakes but overall I think I managed to capture the mood I was going for, so I hope the slips are not too distracting.

To all the pianists reading this: How many recordings do you end up doing on average per video? And also how long do you practice for the recording? I am getting curious if I just simply suck for needing so many takes or if it's a more widespread phenomenon xD

Random fun fact: The beginning of the song reminded me a lot of a Spanish dance song that I played a while ago (   • Malagueña – Imposé 1re mention  ). Obviously both sound very different but something about the patterns and especially the harmony just had me make a connection.
