A shot-by-shot hickory golf course vlog featuring Long Island, NY-based hickory golfer Christian Williams playing hickory golf at Falcon Lakes Golf Club in Basehor, KS. Joining him is recreational golfer Chris Harriman and Kansas City Area Hickory Golfers co-founder Barry Herbert. This round was a three-person scramble in the 2nd annual Kansas Sunflower Hickory Open. Learn more about the Kansas City Area Hickory Golfers here:   / kchickorygolfers

Falcon Lakes opened in 2002 and was designed by Jay Morrish. With few trees, rolling fairways and undulating greens, Falcon Lakes is a links-style course and plays very well with hickory golf clubs. The lack of trees makes it exposed to the prairie winds of Kansas, providing the course with one of its primary defenses and also offering the opportunity for some big drives, such as the 300+ yard drive Harriman accomplished in this round using a hickory golf club.
