Gen Z as a social construct | Vu Hoang Long | TEDxHANU

Описание к видео Gen Z as a social construct | Vu Hoang Long | TEDxHANU

Gen Z is the name of a generation. The word "generation" refers to more than one age range - if you were born between 1995 and 2010 then you are likely Gen Z. "Generation" is a feature of identity. It reminds you of “who are you?” whether you like this or not. But young people do not take this definition passively, but actively create new identities, and even go beyond their stereotypes. They “cooperate” with the situation – a market economy and an increasingly innovative society – to overcome age stereotypes in the workplace, society, and culture. Vu Hoang Long is an author, and blogger with hundreds of thousands of followers. He has now released 3 books: Học Trường Chuyên: Những Góc Nhìn Đa Chiều (2021); Kiếp Người: Vĩnh cửu và Vô Thường (2021); Người Kể Chuyện Tuổi Trẻ (2022), along with national and international studies. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
