Cutting Titanium On The Tormach 1100MX - Prototyping New Designs

Turning Grade 5 (6AL4V) Titanium into knife handle slabs on my Tormach 1100MX. The Tormach is more than capable of machining Titanium.

I like to share information and help others learn to machine, learn Fusion 360, CNC and manual machining and welding. I hope this video help you learn something to take back to your shop.

My main hobby is making knives and these are two new prototype models I am working on to get ready for the Blade Show in Atlanta in June. I name all of my knives after Cactus so the short model is the Barrel Box Cutter and the larger one is the Saguaro Gentleman's Knife. I also have a Cholla model already available on my website. Next I will work on the blades to finish these two prototypes and once I am happy with the design, I will get into production mode. All my folder designs use my patented Triple"B"S Knife lock which stand for the Bud Beets Ball Slide.
