ECHH is a love letter to JRPG history made by the late creator of the Suikoden series. Gather loads of characters and form an Alliance to resist an evil trying to take an Empire for themselves. Mechanically, it will be familiar to anyone who played Suikoden, and plot-wise, it's a grounded and authentic war story. It's surprising how much dialogue they have for so many characters, and it nails that old-school JRPG charm and cozy town vibe. Highly recommended for any fans of the genre, and even for those who maybe haven't played one in a while.
