Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (CCES) 2nd Edition

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues the world is facing today. The impact of the continuous march of human progress on earth's climate is undeniable, and if left unaddressed can be catastrophic, especially to coastal cities such as Alexandria, Miami, and Tokyo. The continual rise of greenhouse gas emissions namely due to the rise of urbanism and the accelerating energy demand threatens all life around the globe.

Addressing this, IEREK is collaborating with Chongqing University, China, for the 2nd edition of “Change and Environmental Sustainability (CCES)”, hosted from the 5th of October to the 7th of October 2022. This virtual conference aims to shed light on critical issues such as climate change, greenhouse gases, carbon emissions, and more. Several scholars are putting forth their work, attempting to solve the issue of climate change and ensure a safe and sustainable future for us all.
