Soroush Salavatian is an Iranian philanthropist who used his personal instagram account to help solve poverty for the long ignored people of Jazmourian wetlands. From providing education for children to establishing sustainable local business opportunities for people. His job as a social activist has begun in 2017 and since then he's gathered around thousands of people to follow his cause and aid him in this way. In the villages next to the Jazmourian Wetlands, they call him "the ID card man" (ba marde shenasnameh) ,some others local people call him "the urban philanthropist".
After a lifetime full of travelling, adventuring and making video and docs from Iran's cities and their sceneries, he was planning to immigrate to another country, but in a short journey to the Jazmourian wetlands, he's altered his purpose life and started to help the people of that region. He known as a social activist now and the creator of #Jazmourian_tanha_nist
(#جازموریانتنهانیست)
His name is Soroush Salavatian, who was born in Hamedan and he lives in Tehran now. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
