"Flamethrower” Drones Set Russian Positions In Donetsk Ablaze As Ukraine Turns To Thermite Weapons

The Ukrainian military is now deploying drones equipped with thermite payloads, turning its UAVs* into powerful "flamethrower" weapons. Footage from Ukraine's 108th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade shows drones releasing molten thermite over targets, causing large plumes of smoke. The video demonstrates the modified drones' destructive power, as thermite ignites on contact, creating intense fires that can destroy Russian positions. However, thermite is considered less lethal than white phosphorous or napalm. Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that the combat footage was filmed in eastern Donetsk.
