RET tram.

De tram is gebouwd in 1968 en reed tot 1995 bij de Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram (RET).

Bij een schilderbeurt in 1999 kreeg deze tram de moderne RET-kleuren: wit, groen en zwart.

In vergelijking met andere trams in het Openluchtmuseum, kan de RET 631 veel passagiers tegelijk vervoeren. Daarom wordt de tram vooral ingezet bij grote drukte. Deze Rotterdamse wagen is door de RET aan het Openluchtmuseum overgedragen.

Nederlands Openluchtmuseum which is the Netherlands Open Air Museum.

It is a Folk Museum in Arnhem with farms, houses, windmills and industrial buildings from all over the Netherlands.

The tram line was reconstructed in 1996.

The RET tram was built in 1968 and operated with the Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram (RET) until 1995. In 1999 this tram was repainted into the modern RET livery with the colours of white, green and black. Compared to other trams in the Open Air Museum, the RET 631 can transport many passengers and thus this tram is mainly used during busy periods. This Rotterdam car has been transferred to the Open Air Museum by the RET.
