Sturlungalaug road is a private road leading to local private properties, so please take an extra caution not to leave any trace on the road or anywhere around the pool! It is just a huge courtesy of Icelanders they haven't closed the road to public yet, nor they require anyone to pay.

There are 2 sheep gates which you firstly need to open to pass and then you should immediately close them to not let the sheep run. Also drive slowly please to not scare the sheep.
