Wellington Zoo (NZ) February 29, 2020 Special Visit (after 10+ years)

Описание к видео Wellington Zoo (NZ) February 29, 2020 Special Visit (after 10+ years)

Visited Wellington Zoo for the first time in at least 10 years, and I have to say, the zoo has improved a lot. Maybe less lions and didn't see any zebras, one less Sun Bear too. But I like how they now have glass walls for the Tiger, Chimps, and Sun Bear enclosures, shifted the Sun Bear, Giraffe and Red Panda enclosures. So it's a big improvement from looking through a mesh fence. And the new enclosures are way better with terraforming done to the new enclosures.

It is also the first year for this new decade, and... it's a leap year too! 29th day of February. It's also free admission day for Wellington City Council staff and their families with a free hot drink.

This is basically all the videos I've taken this day, edited into one video which is 4k native, taken using my Samsung S10+. I've listed Video Contents at the start of this video so if you want to skip to the listed time points, you're welcome to do so.

Still doesn't have elephants but there is only ONE zoo in New Zealand that has them, and that's Auckland Zoo which I quite like. Wellington Zoo has improved a lot since my last visit and want to congratulate them on doing so. Maybe add esculators for those Wellington hills between exhibits? Something which Sydney's Taronga Zoo has but Sydney can afford it. Also feeding shows and opportunities have improved quite a lot for Wellington. The hot chocolate is mmm, and so too the ham and cheese toastie prepped clean and healthy. Staff were fabulous.

Edited using PowerDirector 16. The file size is 20GB so give YouTube Servers 24 hours time to process to HD and another 24 hours to process to 4k.

Enjoy the video! :)
