YouTube has forced me to cut nearly 40 minutes from this edit. The entire movie is an hour and forty-four minutes, so it's what Bob would definitely refer to as a "longy"! It will be available in Google Drive, since YouTube won't allow it. Some of the edits are choppy because they were done through YouTube, not my editing software.

EDITOR'S NOTES:
I wanted to go all out with this final edit, and as a fan I've yearned for something feature length from Reeves and Mortimer. In lieu of their likely cancelled project, "The Glove", I've worked particularly hard to structure and edit this dedicated Shooting Stars MOVIE. And it's not just sketch after sketch after sketch either. I've done everything I can to build some narratives, cohesion and through lines into the edit, and I've also incorporated material from several other sources.
Some of the material in "Shooting Stars: The Inside Story" was too perfect not to use, and it also allowed me to have some nostalgic segments about previous team captains. There's also an ad for The Inside Story, and All New Shooting Stars, that worked excellently for the title sequence.
Since "Lucky Sexy Winners" - a pilot for Channel 4 - is largely considered to be a Shooting Stars clone, I've included its sketches. I'm actually surprised by how much they helped with the flow. Quite strong stuff here, when taken away from the bland quiz setting.
The most controversial choice - if you're of the daft disposition - is the inclusion of sketches (in fact, all the sketches) from Vic and Bob's Big Night Out. They helped immensely with ongoing "narratives", but also allowed me to bring the runtime of his beast far closer to an actual feature. They're the reason I've had to go for a "YouTube Cut" of this too, since it was many of these sketches that were flagged (though I did lose a couple of Shooting Stars segments too, annoyingly).
I checked over a number of Shooting Stars bonus features, which has allowed me to edit in several deleted sketches, as well as both backstage Angelos segments. Additionally, clips have been taken from early episodes (pre-Series 6) for the nostalgic sections throughout. Finally, a short clip from The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer (specifically S01E04) has been used to paper a gap, where a sketch briefly cuts back to the in-studio panel. The pictures of Todd Skelton and Titch Magoo over a New York skyline were rustled up by me, for the same purpose.
