In Episode 15 of Sailing Soraya - Living off grid on our 30 foot sailboat – We test our ability to be self sufficient, as our family of three travel on our 30 foot Sparkman and Stevens monohull, through our most isolated stretch of the Australian Queensland coastline yet. One of the regions we travel to is the Shoalwater Bay Australian Millitary training area, which is also sometimes used for training by the USA and Singapore Armed Forces.

We have to manage our water and food supplies as we wait for safe weather conditions to travel to Hunter and Curlew Island, and eventually reach the Port of Mackay.
