George Pérez 1993 - Full Interview - Oblivion Archives

in 1993, a group of comics/movies/TV/music/videogame enthusiasts got together to create a cable access TV show - The Oblivion Show. Only one episode was ever produced, but we shot several hours of interviews with legendary comics professionals such as George Pérez. After nearly 30 years, we have unearthed this footage and are making it available to the world.

First up is an absolute legend, George Pérez. We interviewed him at a Houston comic book convention in July of 1993. He was a true gentleman and it was our incredible honor that he agreed to let a bunch of nobodies ask him nerdy questions for an hour.

In the interview, George discusses topics of the day, such as Image Comics, his collaborations with Peter David: Hulk: Future Imperfect, and their creator-owned series, Sachs and Violens.
