It wasn’t too long ago that mountain bikes all looked pretty much the same regardless of which discipline they were intended for, gone are the 26-inch wheels, xc riders were the first to ditch them in favour of the bigger and faster rolling 29ers and in came the super speed carbon XC MTBs of today, but just how hard can you really push a thoroughbred XC machine!?
