my cats reaction to a fake lizard toy

My four cats react to a fake lizard toy. They are used to seeing real lizards pop up in the house every other day since we live in Florida. I don't want them to torture real lizards, so I was looking for alternatives. The downside is that the fake lizard is hard plastic so they can't bite into it.
