Cheap Logitech shifter modification using Hall sensors, Arduino and magnets

Описание к видео Cheap Logitech shifter modification using Hall sensors, Arduino and magnets

Logitech shifter modification using Hall sensors, Arduino Pro Micro and magnets. After shifter mod potentiometers, moving wires, switches or connectors are not needed anymore and shifter will be more durable for gaming and driving simulators.

NOTE: I have posted new video: How to use Logitech shifter as a sequential shifter. It is an addition to this video.    • How to use Logitech shifter not only ...

You need:
Arduino pro micro 1pc
Hall sensors 49E 3pcs
neodymium magnets diam. 10mm thickness 3mm 4pcs
neodymium magnets diam. 6mm thickness 3mm 2pcs
small pieces of polycarbonate sheet thickness 2mm and 4mm
threaded inserts M3 (or nuts M3) 4pcs
countersunk head screws M3 x12 4pcs
screw M4 x16 1 pc
nut M4 1 pc
some washers M4
glue ( I use epoxy)
wires

Optional:
-threaded rod M3 x 37mm 1pc (or screw M3x35 full thread, not allen screw) (video 4:32)
-M3 nuts 4pcs, (I recommend Nyloc type or using threadlocker) (video 4:32)
If you use threaded rod at least one nut must be normal and not nyloc (not enough space for nyloc)
-Hall sensor 49E 1pc

You need 4th hall sensor if you want to use shifter not only as a H-pattern shifter but as a sequential shifter too. Watch my new video which shows how to do it.
