On today's adventure, we''ll be exploring the sky island mountains in south Arizona for one of the most biologically unique snakes in the country.... the Sonoran lyre snake! These snakes look menacing, with vertical pupils and wide jowls to boot, it's a wonder these snakes aren't more well known, because this common desert colubrid is packing some venom in a way that very few other snakes are!
