As we confront the complex climate challenges of our time, collaborative and innovative action is essential to close market gaps and advance ambitious resilience agendas at the necessary pace. "Bridging Sectors: Mobilizing Corporate and Philanthropic Funding for Community Resilience" was the third and final session of The Urban Resilience Series, a Special Edition of Cities on the Frontline.

In this session, through a guided exchange, Lauren Sorkin, Executive Director of Resilient Cities Network, and Gregory Renand, Head of the Z Zurich Foundation, highlighted the vital role of cross-sectoral partnerships for urgent and comprehensive resilience action.

During the conversation, our speakers also discussed how different stakeholders can come together to pool resources, share knowledge, and leverage their expertise to explore partnership models that ensure solutions not only address systemic barriers but also prioritize the needs of those most vulnerable to climate shocks.

The Urban Resilience Series, a collaboration between Resilient Cities Network and Zurich North America, brings together experts from the private, public, and non-profit sectors to discuss key challenges to urban resilience and explore how strategic collaboration can help accelerate action.
