"Youth Workers Rescue! - Erasmus +Training Course for Youth Workers on Humanitarian Response to Crisis" was a comprehensive training course aimed to empower youth workers with essential skills and knowledge for effective humanitarian action. The course, inspired by various successful humanitarian initiatives, including notable efforts by organizations like us, Hawk Stars, into the intricacies of disaster response, strategic planning, resource mobilization, building impactful collaborations, crowdfunding, bringing sponsors on board, promoting young peoples involvement in their communities and humanitarian response initiatives.

In February 2022, with the start of the Russia-Ukraine military conflict, Hawk Stars at the time in its previous version “EuroHawk” organized very successful humanitarian response initiative through the FNEE a.k.a the National Federation of European Studies. Together with two organisations, they organised the initiative "Together for Ukraine - Let's fill a Truck from Guarda with Humanitarian Aid". The FNEE had collaboration of the Guarda District Fire Brigade Federation, without which the results quoted below would not have been possible:

Project Objectives Developed:

Develop a training course that will capacitate 28 youth workers from Portugal, Armenia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine and Germany days in Pinhel, Guarda on humanitarian response to disasters and the promotion of active citizenship and involvement of young people local communities.
Develop a deeper understanding of 28 youth workers from 7 countries on
humanitarian crises, including their causes, impacts, and the response
required.
Equip 28 youth workers from 7 countries with skills for strategic planning and implementation of humanitarian support initiatives.
Enhance the abilities of 28 youth workers from 7 countries in fundraising,
resource mobilization, and management for humanitarian projects.
Foster 28 youth workers' skills in establishing and maintaining productive
partnerships and sponsorships for humanitarian causes.
-Improve the skills of 28 youth workers in promoting active citizenship,
tolerance, integration and the involvement of young people in their
communities and humanitarian work happening in their surroundings.
-Generate 5 new future projects within the Erasmus+ programme bringing
together new partnerships between 7 organizations working within the E+
framework.

29 youth workers from 7 european countries had enjoyed Pinhel and the Learning Objetives about Humanitarian Rescue.
