God asks us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Let's pray so that God helps you love others the same way you love yourself.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
In a world torn apart by fear and suspicion, teach us, your children, that Love is the only way to conquer fear. Father God, not only is the world fearful and suspicious, but it is also full of frustration, anger, and hatred. So Father God, please show us your children the best way to overturn the tables and tear down the fences that turn away the hungry and homeless.
Father God, we pray to teach us how to love others the way you call us to love others.
As Mark 12:29-31 says, “The most important is Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.”
Leviticus 19:18 says "You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Father God, please teach our children to be caring of one another to protect one another. Please, bring your children and nation under your wings and guidance. Help us know the peace so we can have a sense of inner happiness and bliss.
