The Preservation Experience began in September 2014 at the Trolley Museum of New York (TMNY) in Kingston, NY. This series of events was created as a way for everyone to experience first-hand what it is like to help restore and maintain vintage equipment, as well as to allow all to observe for themselves the amount of work involved in doing so. These events are designed to help bring history alive through volunteer work, while educating and providing participants a hands-on experience in preservation and restoration.
