Why You Should not Miss a Growth Scan in your pregnancy?
An interval growth scan, also known as BPS or third-trimester scan, is an ultrasound scan done between 28 and 37 weeks of pregnancy. The first growth scan is suggested between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy to assess the growth and well-being of the unborn baby.

In the growth scan, we check the baby's weight and position, baby movements, amniotic fluid, Placenta position, and blood flow to the baby. All these factors are important in ensuring baby is growing well and has no complications.

Growth scans also detect potential issues in unborn babies if the mother has gestational diabetes, hypertension, or other medical illnesses. If left untreated, these conditions can lead to harmful outcomes such as fetal growth restriction, pre-term delivery, and stillbirth.
